DELFT

Description

Experience the natural elegance and unmatched artistry of classic European surface design with the Delft Tile Collection, available exclusively for your next premium renovation project through Local Tile Co. True architectural craftsmanship cannot be mass-produced. Our signature collection is built entirely on direct, foundational relationships with multi-generational artisan factories across Europe. We carefully select and import each line to ensure you receive authentic, hand-painted ceramic art that strictly honors 17th-century production techniques. Featuring the iconic contrast of vibrant cobalt blue on milk-white glazes—as well as rare, historic manganese burgundy tones—these premium wall tiles effortlessly transform everyday residential environments into living galleries.

Because these boutique tiles are made by real artisans in traditional European workshops, every single piece features its own distinct personality and subtle variance. Whether you are building a custom kitchen backsplash, framing a luxury fireplace surround, or adding vintage European charm to a main bathroom, our imported collection brings an exclusive, worldly character to your home. Handcrafted production ensures beautiful, organic brushstroke variations and subtle glaze differences that give your walls incredible depth, a soft human touch, and an enduring beauty that standard factory tiles cannot match. The thick, traditional gloss finish reflects ambient light beautifully, bouncing natural illumination throughout smaller spaces to make your rooms feel remarkably bright and open.

Special Order Guidelines & National Canadian Delivery
To ensure the absolute highest level of historical authenticity and strict quality control, our handcrafted Delft tiles are never mass-stocked. Each order is individually commissioned, created at our partner European workshops, and safely shipped across the Atlantic. The Delft Tile Collection is available as a custom special order only, with an estimated lead time of 8–12 weeks from order confirmation to local pickup or delivery. We highly recommend coordinating with your tile installer or general contractor early to secure your order timeline well ahead of your project’s active construction phase. At Local Tile Co., we eliminate the complexity of international procurement, handling all secure wooden crating and providing insured nationwide freight shipping from our showroom in Shelburne, Ontario straight to your job site anywhere in Canada.
