At Local Tile Co., we never compromise on quality, meaning we strictly refuse to source or sell cheap, mass-produced commodity products. Every single item in our inventory is hand-selected directly from the world’s most prestigious, top-tier manufacturing plants. Whether you are an interior architect drafting commercial plans in Calgary or a homeowner remodeling a kitchen floor in Toronto, this elite Mediterranean series delivers unmatched structural integrity and jaw-dropping artistic value with freight shipping available across Canada.

Why the Trencadís Collection Captures the True Essence of Modernism

Cheap mosaic tiles frequently rely on flat, repetitive digital printing that completely loses the depth, texture, and character of genuine historic masonry. In stark contrast, this premium series is engineered meticulously in top-tier global facilities to honor real European artistry. The Trencadís Collection pays homage to the unique constructive technique developed by the legendary architect Antoni Gaudí in Barcelona. This iconic style is characterized by the deliberate use of irregular fragments of materials like premium ceramics, glass, and tiles to create stunning, abstract mosaics heavily inspired by rich Mediterranean tradition.

Factory-Direct Premium Caliber: Sourced straight from top-tier European production lines to guarantee absolute material density and perfect sheet consistency.
Authentic Gaudí Artistry: Captures the organic spirit of Park Güell, where this historical technique transforms ordinary surfaces into visually striking and unique environments.
Porcelain Structural Longevity: Blends fragments of historical modernism with the creative spirit of Gaudí, using durable materials that easily resist scratching, fading, and staining.

Timeless Inspiration for Premium Residential & Commercial Projects

Originally launched as a special-order masterclass series, the Trencadís Collection allows you to seamlessly incorporate Gaudí’s reflections of Mediterranean beauty and innovation directly into your high-end design projects. It delivers a timeless, inspiring aesthetic that acts as a profound conversation piece in any luxury real estate development. The fluid, irregular layout of the fragments plays beautifully with both natural daylight and ambient indoor lighting, injecting incredible physical movement across the surface expanse.

Because these premium mosaic sheets are engineered to meet strict modern building standards, they are perfect for high-visibility kitchen backsplashes, custom luxury bathroom feature walls, wet-area shower pans, or striking commercial retail installations. The non-porous face ensures that keeping the complex abstract layout clean is completely effortless, completely bypassing the heavy maintenance or sealing routines associated with traditional porous concrete art installations.
