FS STORIA

FS STORIA by Francisco Segarra captures the true essence of traditional ceramic design, gracefully updating it with a highly sophisticated modern touch [site:peronda.com]. Manufactured in Spain by Peronda, each 45×45 cm red-body ceramic tile features vintage-inspired geometric patterns and delicate artisanal brushwork [site:peronda.com]. The soft, organic movements in the glaze effortlessly evoke the warmth, history, and distinct character of timeless historic tiled spaces.

Perfect for both wall and floor applications, the FS STORIA collection adds immense elegance and personality to residential kitchens, boutique bathrooms, luxury feature walls, or high-traffic commercial interiors [site:peronda.com]. Engineered with pioneering “All In One” technology, these tiles offer an incredibly smooth, velvet-soft touch while maintaining an advanced R10 slip-resistance rating [site:peronda.com]. This makes them exceptionally safe and highly functional for everyday use in residential wet zones, entryways, and bustling commercial environments.

Due to its highly curated, artisanal nature, the FS STORIA series is available strictly via special order. Because Francisco Segarra frequently introduces new design variations to keep the series entirely fresh and unique, sourcing through an authorized Canadian partner ensures you receive the most current, cohesive production batch directly from Spain.

Technical Installation & Pre-Scored Faux-Joint Guide
To maximize the vintage appeal of the FS STORIA collection, professional installation techniques are highly recommended. These 45×45 cm square slabs are manufactured with integrated pre-scored lines across the face of the material. This clever design layout visually breaks the tile up into a 4-in-1 format, giving the illusion of smaller, hand-laid checkerboard mosaic tiles once completely grouted.

Ensure your tiling professional uses a high-quality thinset mortar suited for heavy-bodied ceramic tiles. When grouting, selecting a vintage-inspired medium grey, charcoal, or soft off-white grout matrix is critical to filling both the real physical gaps and the faux pre-scored lines uniformly. This technique masks the physical joints, creating an expansive, unbroken pattern of historic ceramic art across your room.
