FS ARLES

FS ARLES by Francisco Segarra brings the rustic, sun-drenched charm of French Provence to life with an exquisite interplay of texture and light [site:localtile.ca/product/arles-francisco-segarra/]. Manufactured by Peronda using cutting-edge Layer Tech technology, this 33×33 cm square tile collection features rich, digitally printed grits and vibrant colored inserts (“tacos”) alternating against a clean, matte white background [site:peronda.com]. This high-end manufacturing technique creates a striking contrast of glossy motifs and organic textures, allowing modern engineering to perfectly revive the soul of historic, handcrafted European tiles [site:peronda.com].

Perfect for residential accent walls, striking kitchen backsplashes, custom bathroom floors, or boutique commercial interiors, the FS ARLES line is available in four classic Mediterranean tones: Blue, Brown, Green, and Black [site:lemondeducarrelage.fr/produit/serie-francisco-segarra-fs-arles/]. Due to its highly artistic nature, this designer collection is available strictly via special order [site:localtile.ca/product/arles-francisco-segarra/]. Sourcing your layout through an authorized distributor ensures your project receives a seamless, single-production batch directly from Spain.

Technical Installation & Grouting Guide
To maximize the vintage appeal of the FS ARLES collection, professional installation techniques are highly recommended. These 33×33 cm tiles are engineered with a faux-joint layout system, giving them the appearance of smaller, hand-laid boutique tiles once installed. Installers should utilize a high-quality thinset mortar suitable for heavy-bodied ceramic tiles.

When grouting, selecting the right tone is critical to blending the faux pre-scored joints with the actual physical grout lines. For a seamless historic look, choose a neutral grey or off-white grout color that mimics traditional mortar. Ensure all grout residue is thoroughly cleaned from the high-gloss “tacos” and textured grits during the initial cleanup phase to keep the Layer Tech finish shining brilliantly.
