Experience Contemporary Stone Luxury with Brazilian Slate
The Brazilian Slate collection by Unicom Starker stands as a masterclass in modern, stone-inspired surface design. Born out of extensive research into the most breathtaking natural slates of South America, this premium Italian porcelain series delivers the compact, sophisticated essence of natural slate to your design workspace. It mirrors the traditional elegance and raw minimalism of authentic Lavagna stone while benefiting from the unmatched structural durability, frost resistance, and stain protection of non-porous porcelain stoneware.
Every tile in this series showcases meticulous surface depth. Infused with soft clouding, delicate light halos, and intentional, faint directional markings, the collection offers a highly authentic texture that catches the light beautifully. Whether you are designing an open-concept kitchen floor, a floor-to-ceiling master shower surround, or a premium backyard patio layout, the broad range of modular formats and decor trims gives you complete freedom over your design layout.
The Brazilian Slate Color Palette
We carry the complete 7-color architectural lineup at Local Tile Co., ensuring you find the exact tonal balance required for your project:
- Oxford White: A crisp, ultra-clean approach to natural stone. Oxford White infuses rooms with an airy, bright atmosphere while maintaining a subtle slate texture. It is a stunning foundation for minimalist kitchens and bright modern master baths.
- Storm Beige: A comforting, warm organic tone that grounds a room. Storm Beige introduces a soft, earth-toned cream canvas that pairs beautifully with natural woods, linen textures, and modern organic palettes.
- Vermont Green: A deep, sophisticated mossy-charcoal base that stands out as a true statement colorway. Vermont Green brings a rich biophilic energy into a home, shifting elegantly from grey to muted olive undertones depending on your lighting layout.
- Silk Grey: A soft, powdery silver-grey that offers ultimate neutrality. Silk Grey serves as a quiet, elegant backdrop that balances out crisp white walls and coordinates perfectly with polished steel or matte black finishes.
- Elephant Grey: A versatile, mid-tone industrial gray with rich depth. Elephant Grey balances cool and warm undertones flawlessly, creating an excellent stone canvas for high-traffic entryways and contemporary commercial floors.
- Pencil Grey: A strong, medium-to-dark charcoal tone that emphasizes the structural lines of natural slate texturing. Pencil Grey gives rooms a robust architectural weight that is highly favored for rugged accents and moody fireplace surrounds.
- Rail Black: The ultimate dramatic anchor. Replicating classic dark charcoal Lavagna stone, Rail Black brings absolute luxury and deep contrast into a space. It is ideal for high-end walk-in showers, sleek accent walls, or striking commercial reception desks.
